Robert
Carvell has been a resident of the Waller district since 1996 and has
served on the Waller ISD Board since 2000. He became Secretary of the
Board in May 2002, Vice President in May 2003, and President of the Board in
2005.
A native of Louisiana, Robert moved with his parents to Cypress during his freshman year
of high school and graduated from Cy-Fair High School. He attended the
University of Southern Louisiana, Layfayette where he studied petroleum
engineering played football. He is currently
employed by McGriff, Seibels & Williams of Texas, Inc. where he serves as
Vice President of the Energy & Marine Division.
Robert and his wife, Eileen, are the
parents of two children who have received their education at WISD.
Robert is a Texas Certified Master Fire Fighter and has been a member of
the Cy-Fair Volunteer Fire Department since 1974. He is also a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The Carvell's are members of St. Mathias Catholic Church in Magnolia.
