Dr. David Kirkpatrick |

Dr. David Kirkpatrick has lived in the Waller Independent School District
for 35 years and has served as a member of the Waller ISD Board of Trustees
since 1996. Dr. Kirkpatrick has served as Secretary, Vice-President, and
President of the Board. He was elected to additional terms as Vice-President
in May 2004 and in May 2005.
A native of Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Kirkpatrick received a B.S. degree from
Prairie View A&M University in 1963. He then went on to earn an M.S.
degree from Kansas State College and a PhD. in Technology from Purdue
University. Dr. Kirkpatrick has been teaching since 1968 and is currently
the Head of the Prairie View A&M University Department of Engineering
Technology where he also serves as an Instructor.
Dr. Kirkpatrick and his wife, Loraine, are the parents of two sons and two
daughters, all of whom are graduates of the Waller Independent School
District.
Dr. Kirkpatrick and his wife are members of St.
Francis Episcopal Church in Prairie View, Texas.
