WJH inducts 93 new
National Junior Honor Society Members
Waller ISD’s Waller Junior High (WJH)
proudly inducted 93 members to its Celeste Eplen Chapter of the National
Junior Honor Society (NJHS) Tuesday, Jan. 29. The ceremony was led by
NJHS sponsor Nancy Evans and the NJHS officers. Following the ceremony,
new inductees and their family members were treated to a reception.
Seventh graders inducted were Rodolfo Adame, Deborah Adesegun,
Alexis Aguirre, Aaron Allen, Sarah Arrington, Jacob Bailey, Miranda
Bailey, Chance Bell, Jessica Burton, Perla Castillo, Ursula Cedillo-Johnson,
Kelsey Collins, Kamren Cook, Christian Creath, Daniel Croy, Alexis Cruz,
Jamie Duong, Kaylea Kajkus, Nahid Ferfous, Alexander Galanos, Mason
Hamlett, Malorie Hegemeyer, Morgan Heise, Eryn Hendrix, Alton Hester,

Eighth graders inducted were Justyn Barthe’, Kimberly Bronikowski,
Ana Contreras, Austin Crockett, Jamaal Davis, George Forrester, Ana
Garcia, Stephen Garcia, Mabel Herrera, Geena Hughes, marilyn Hughes,
Preston Kitson, Francisca Lopez, Araseli Negreros, Brittany Premer, Alan
Pressley, Alexandra Pretto, Rachel Rawlings, Laura Reyes, Paola Rivera,
Stephanie Salaiz, Kori Schwenke, Robert Simon, Ashley Sisoumphou, Kelli
Soots, Nichole Stubblefield, John Thompson, Cheryl Washington, and
Stephen Woodburn.
The officers for WJH’s chapter of the NJHS are President Natilie
Preuss, Vice President Morgan Kammerer, Parliamentarian Melanie Luckett,
Secretary Katrina Fite, and Treasurer Sarah Friedel.
Administrators and faculty members in attendance were WJH Principal
Troy Mooney, Assistant Principal Stephanie Fletcher, Assistant Principal
Pam Groschke, Marilyn Rollings, Rachel Caldwell, Ron Werchan, Linda
Werchan, Barbara Cantrell, Rick Forrester, Richard Nelson, Darralyn
Brzymialkiewicz, Donna Bryant, Stephen Baker, and David Kruse.
According to the NJHS website, membership in the honor society is
not based only on honor roll, it is based on “a student’s outstanding
performance in the area of scholarship, service, leadership,” character,
and citizenship. |
