Three WHS Bulldogs Advance to Track Regionals

Following action at the District 18-4A Track Meet held April 7-8 in Montgomery, three Waller High School Bulldogs qualified for the Regional Meet held April 25-26 in Huntsville. Junior Josh Haines brought home the District Triple Jump silver medal with a jump of 43’10”, senior Eddie Brown was the District Shot Put silver medalist with a throw of 49’1/2”, and senior Jeremy Phillips was the 110m hurdles District Champion with a time of 15.09 sec. These accomplishments qualified all three for Regionals but did not move them on to State.

Haines qualifies for Regional Track Meet. April 8, Waller High School junior Josh Haines qualified for the Regional Track Meet with a Triple Jump of 43’10”. This jump made Haines the District silver medalist. Brown qualifies for Regional Track Meet. April 8, Waller High School senior Eddie Brown qualified for the Regional Track Meet with a Shot Put throw of 49’1/2”. This throw made Brown the District silver medalist. Phillips qualifies for Regional Track Meet. April 8, Waller High School senior Jeremy Phillips was the 110m hurdles District Champion with a time of 15.09 sec; this accomplishment qualified Phillips for the Regional Meet.
