Three WHS Bulldogs Advance
to Track Regionals
Following action at the District
18-4A Track Meet held April 7-8 in Montgomery, three Waller High School
Bulldogs qualified for the Regional Meet held April 25-26 in Huntsville.
Junior Josh Haines brought home the District Triple Jump silver medal with a
jump of 43’10”, senior Eddie Brown was the District Shot Put silver medalist
with a throw of 49’1/2”, and senior Jeremy Phillips was the 110m hurdles
District Champion with a time of 15.09 sec. These accomplishments qualified
all three for Regionals but did not move them on to State. |

Haines qualifies for
Regional Track Meet.
April 8, Waller High
School junior Josh Haines qualified for the Regional Track Meet with a
Triple Jump of 43’10”. This jump made Haines the District silver medalist. |
Brown qualifies for
Regional Track Meet.
April 8, Waller High
School senior Eddie Brown qualified for the Regional Track Meet with a Shot
Put throw of 49’1/2”. This throw made Brown the District silver medalist.
