WHS announces All-District Football, Volleyball Selections

     Dec 6, District 18-4A announced its All-District football player selections which included 23 from Waller High School.
     First Team All-District was senior running back Colton Johnson (unanimous selection), senior center Tom Lockler, senior fullback Don Nash, and junior defensive end Eddie Brown (unanimous selection).
     Second Team All-District was junior receiver Stephen Williams (also selected Second Team All-District defensive return specialist), junior offensive lineman Kennedy Vongphakdy, junior defensive lineman David Hunter, and junior defensive end Jerrod Jefferson.
     Honorable Mention All-District was senior kicker Salvador Guerra, junior quarterback Jeremy Phillips, senior offensive lineman Ryan Villarreal, junior offensive lineman Isaac Watson, and senior linebacker Chase Birthisel.
     Academic All-District selections were Tom Lockler, Don Nash, Travis Baggett, Chase Birthisel, Daniel Hendrix, Charles McWhinney, Hunter Wynn, Jamie Martinez, Jon Kenyon, Jeremy Phillips, Jerrod Jefferson, David Hunter, Seth Cook, Jacob Dodd, Clayton Kiesling, and Mitchell Kapaski.
     Oct 23, District 18-4A announced its All-District volleyball selections which included six from WHS. Senior Raena Winton was voted Most Valuable Setter; junior Katie Berry, First Team All-District; senior Cassidy Reed, Second Team All-District; and sophomore Ashley Young and senior Tabatha Dent, Honorable Mention All-District. Katie Berry, Morgan Davis, Raena Winton, and Ashley Young were selected Academic All-District.
