WISD Food Service trains safety monitors. Waller ISD Food Service personnel (L-R) Jackie Ernst, Marcie Rodriguez, Tracie Scurlock, Janie De La Rosa, Peggy Copeland, and Betty Brigner; have been trained to be district food service safety monitors. These ladies are trained with provided curriculum in monthly meetings. They hold weekly kitchen safety presentations on their campuses and monitor safety in the work place. The safety monitors are part of WISD’s pro-active approach to preventing work related injuries in the Food Service Department.
