Mr. Merrell became the principal of Schultz Middle School in July 2005 after serving as an assistant principal at Arnold Middle School in Cy-Fair ISD for the previous two years. Mr. Merrell started his teaching career in 1999 as a biology teacher in Cy-Fair ISD. After three years in the classroom, he moved to Thornton Middle School as the Academic Achievement Specialist. He remained in that position for one year before becoming an assistant principal at Arnold Middle School. Mr. Merrell graduated from Texas City High School and received a BA degree in Biology from Texas A&M University. He received a Masters degree in Education from Texas A&M, and is currently working on his PhD at Texas A&M. |
