Dr. Schnitta came to WJH from Region 4 where she served as an Education Specialist in School Leadership.  Prior to Region 4, she was Principal at Baker Sixth Grade School in La Porte ISD, a school with 600 students and 60 staff members. She has held other Secondary School Administrator positions during her career in Education. 

Dr. Schnitta completed her Doctorate in Educational Leadership from Nova Southeastern University this summer.  She holds a Master of Science degree in Educational Administration from University of Houston and a Bachelor of Science in Public Administration from Samford University.

When asking Dr. Schnitta what her future vision is for WJH, she responded “I envision a campus that is a safe place to have fun in and to learn.  I want WJH to be a place where both adults and students will realize and achieve their dreams for the future.  I want every student to be accepted at WJH and to receive a top notch education.  For staff at WJH, I envision a school building where they too are challenged and learning everyday.”  Dr. Schnitta wants all staff and students to enjoy coming to WJH.  

She is thrilled to be leading WJH. Her interests include shopping, exercising, leisure reading and studying successful schools both nationally and internationally.
