Tax Rate Information
The school district tax rates are comprised of Maintenance & Operations (M&O) and Interest & Sinking (I&S) tax rate.
- Maintenance & Operations (M&O) tax rate is the local district tax rate that raises the revenue to operate and maintain the district’s normal day-to-day educational activities.
- Interest & Sinking (I&S) tax rate is the district tax rate which raises revenue to pay for voter approved bonded debt obligations.
The M&O tax rate will remain the same at $1.04 per $100.00 of taxable valuation. The I&S tax rate will remain at $0.40 per $100.00 of taxable valuation. The combined rate of $1.44 per $100.00 of valuation has been the same adopted rate since the 2009 – 2010 fiscal year. Click on the button below for a visual tool regarding the tax rates.
The Tax Office has an excellent history of collecting property taxes on behalf of the District. The chart below is a summary of Tax Office operations for the last ten years. Tax collection data for the current 2015 – 2016 fiscal year will not be certified until the conclusion of the annual audit.
