Welcome to 8^th Grade:    Hello Parents and Students of Waller Junior High.  My name is Michelle Koch, and I joined the WJH team in 2016.  My family and I moved to Hempstead in 2015 bought a house on a few acers, where we are living the country life.  We keep busy at home with chickens, cows, a cat and a dog.  My son and husband also enjoy fishing in our pond.  My son and daughter are attending Waller ISD.  My son is active in baseball and my daughter was the 2018 Little Miss Watermelon for Hempstead.  She attended events around town and various parades.

I began my teacher career in 2003 with Cy-Fair ISD.   While there, I was a 7^th and 8^th grade math teacher, Algebra I and a Coaching teacher.  I earned my Bachelors of Science from Southwest Texas (SWT) in 2002.  I majored in Mathematics with a teacher certificate. 

My goal is to not only share my love of math with your children, but to help build your child's self-confidence and become a well-rounded student. This will be the Best Year Ever #BYE
