    To promote Leadership, Fellowship, and Unity in our school.

    Waller High School Student Council is a student-led organization that promotes leadership, fellowship, and unity in our school and community.  Student Council strives to reach its goal by developing projects that meet the needs of our students, faculty/staff, and community. 
    Waller High School Student Council is an active member of the National Student Council, Texas Association of Student Council (TASC), and District XIV.  Student Council has received several awards for their participation in the National and State Projects which are: Drug, Alcohol, Safety, and Health) DASH); Pride and Patriotism; Energy and Environment; Community Service.  Waller High School has received several Sweepstakes and Outstanding Student Council Awards. Waller High School Student Council has severed as the President School and, Secretary School for District XIV. 
    Student Council has open enrollment.  Any student from each of the grade levels may join student council. In order to be considered an active member of Student Council, each student must attend meetings regularly, participate in projects, adhere to the discipline and grading guidelines, and pay their club dues. Every member has the opportunity to participate in and organize student council activities/projects, both in school and the community.  Student Council officer positions are: President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Parliamentarian, Historian, and Grade Level Representatives. Student Council’s Sponsors are Summer Rozell and Victoria Carroll. Mrs. Carroll teaches Health Science and Mrs. Rozell teaches Cosmetology and is a Prom sponsor. Student Council meetings are currently held via zoom until we are able to meet in person  - join our Remind 101(@wallerstco) it is the best way to stay in the loop.
    Student Council is responsible for leading the following projects/activities: Homecoming Activities(Parade, Half-Time Queen Ceremony, Dress-up Days and Activities for the school), Veterans’ Day Program, Food Drives, Sportsmanship Exchange Gift for football games, Teacher Appreciation, Drug Awareness, and School Spirit.
