Specialized Instruction Outside of the General Education Classroom

  • At times, a student’s needs are targeted for specially designed instruction outside of the general education classroom.  This pull out program is to allow the student additional resources to help master the skills outline in their Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals and objectives.

Specially Designed Instruction is specific to the students disability needs and targets the students deficit by bridging the gap between where the student currently functions and the grade level standards.

Data is continuously collected, to keep record of progress being made toward mastery of IEP goals and to determine if the instruction is yielding the intended results.

This instruction is not intended to replace the instruction of the grade level standards.
