8th Grade - Fundamentals of Computer Science (½ High School Credit)
Throughout this course, students will be introduced to the areas of Computer Science which will be offered at the high school level. The areas of introduction will include but are not limited to: audio/video design, digital media, web technologies, game programming and design, java, visual basic, robotics, as well as other coding basics. At the end of this course, students will investigate course offerings and career options as well as the scope and sequence of Computer Science at the high school and college levels.
