Overview

  • 2024 Long-Range Planning CommitteeWaller ISD (WISD) is one of the fastest-growing Houston-area school districts bordering Cypress-Fairbanks ISD, Hempstead ISD, Katy ISD, Magnolia ISD, Navasota ISD, Royal ISD, and Tomball ISD. It is also one of the largest Houston-area school districts in terms of land mass at 328 square miles.

The 2024 Long-Range Planning Committee is a collaborative group of parents, community members, staff, and students who will work together to review the district’s strategic, long-range plan, financial information, demographic study, and more in order to help guide the work of the district as we continue to plan for our future.

The work of this committee will lead to a recommendation to our Board of Trustees for what should be included in the district’s next bond election.

It comprises a representative group of the WISD family including parents, students, community members, business owners, staff, members of previous long-range planning committees, and more.
