I believe my role as the music education teacher at Roberts Road Elementary is to bring a higher level of thinking to the students through music. Students learn to think about complex patterns, foster cooperation, and bring in their own unique and individual sound to create and become part of a whole.
Music is, after all, the universal language - a language that we all have in common; a language we can all understand and appreciate!
