Board Election Information

BOARD TRUSTEE REQUIREMENTS

To be a Board of Trustee, you must be:

  1. 18 years of age by the candidate filing deadline
  2. Citizen of the United States
  3. Resident of Waller ISD for at 6 months
  4. Resident of Texas for at least 12 months
  5. Not been finally convicted of a felony
  6. Not been determined by final judgment of a court exercising probate jurisdiction to be totally mentally incapacitated or partially mentally incapacitated without the right to vote
  7. Registered to vote in Waller ISD

Board Trustee applications are posted on the Texas Secretary of State website and can also be accessed through this link. The completed application must be submitted to Sarah Marcus, Waller ISD Education Service Center (20600 Fields Store Road, Waller, TX 77484) by the deadline as determined by the Texas Secretary of State.
