Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC)
Overview
Waller ISD’s Student Health Advisory Council, commonly known as SHAC, was established to assist the district in ensuring that local community values are reflected in the district’s health education instruction. The committee is appointed by the Waller ISD Board of Trustees (Board Policy BDF Legal) and is made up of representatives from all aspects of the Waller ISD family including, but not limited to staff and parents who meet at least four times per year.
