Teaching, Learning, and Innovation
The department of Teaching, Learning, and Innovation (TLI) oversees all academic programs and assessments throughout Waller ISD.
In TLI, directors, coordinators, coaches, and other staff work collaboratively to ensure a high-quality, comprehensive instructional and assessment program for all students in Waller ISD. Within TLI, departments include Curriculum and Instruction, Assessment and Accountability, Special Education, Student Support Services, Multilingual Programs, State and Federal Programs, and Career and Technical Education (CTE). Additionally, the TLI department coordinates digital learning, professional development programs, the Teacher Incentive Allotment, and attendance and student records.
A-F Accountability System
The 84th Legislature passed HB 2804, changing the Texas school accountability system so that every campus and district receives one of five ratings from A-F.
