K-W-L

A graphic organizer that is designed to help in learning.  The letters "KWL" are an acronym for what students in the course of a lesson, already know, want to know, and ultimately learn in the end.  This graphic organizer also helps students organize information before, during, and after a unit or a lesson.  This can be used to engage students in a new topic, activate prior knowledge, share unit objectives, and monitors students’ learning.
