Transition Services
Welcome
Welcome to the Waller ISD Special Services Transition Website! Here you will find valuable information on everything you need to know regarding transitioning your child from Public school to Postsecondary Education, Employment, and Adult Living.
Transition services are required by law before the age of 14 in Texas, but it is never too early to start planning for your child’s future. Even in Elementary and Junior High, there are services that your child may qualify for from various state agencies. Some agencies have waiting lists that can be 8-10 years long. That’s why it is so important to get signed up for services as soon as possible.
If you have any questions about Transition Planning, please call or email Jackie Bremer, Waller ISD Transition Coordinator, at jbremer@wallerisd.net or 936.931.9146, ext. 4278.
