Military Connected Families
Waller ISD is committed to supporting military-connected students and their families as they navigate the unique challenges that can come with military life. We strive to ensure that military-connected students experience a smooth transition into our schools and have access to the academic, social, and emotional supports they need to be successful.
Military-connected students may include students with a parent or guardian who is serving on active duty, in the National Guard or Reserves, or who has recently retired or separated from military service.
Waller ISD supports military-connected students and families who may be experiencing:
- Frequent moves and school transitions
- Deployments or family separations
- Changes in academic programs or graduation requirements
- Social or emotional challenges related to military life
- A need for school, district, or community resources
Waller ISD works with students, families, and campus staff to identify individual needs, support successful school transitions, and connect families with available resources.
