Ms. Everleigh Henke

My name is Everleigh Henke and I am teaching Professional Communications, Livestock Production, and Professional Standards in Agribusiness for the 2017-2018 school year. I am from the small, coastal town of Port Lavaca, TX. After graduating from Calhoun High School in 2009, I attended Texas A&M Univeristy in College Station. I graduated in 2013 with my Bachelors of Science in Agricultural Leadership and Development with a minor in Agricultural Economics. Two years later, I completed my Master's of Education degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communications. I grew up in a family that farms 4000 acres of row crop and runs a 60 sow show pig operation, so it is safe to say that I have been embedded in agriculture from the day I was born and was destined to pursue a career in the field. I thoroughly love the opportunity to educate and mold young minds about agriculture and its vital contribution to the world. It is an honor to work diligently with the students and parents of Waller ISD!
