Hello all, and welcome to my webpage. I was born and raised in Jackson, TN. I graduated from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a B.S. in Child and Family Studies/Early Childhood Education. I started my teaching career in 1999. I moved to Texas in 2001 with my husband, Ruben. We have one son, Matthew. In 2013, I earned my Masters of Science Degree in Child Development from Texas Woman's University.  I am currently working on my M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis in Literary Studies.

Over the years, I have taught various grade levels from Kindergarten to high school. I absolutely love teaching and learning.
