Hi! My name is Lisa Boettcher and I am so excited to be part of the Turlington Elementary team!  Most importantly, I am thrilled to be your child's teacher.  It is going to be a fun year full of lots of learning and new adventures.  I am looking forward to an awesome school year, but first let me tell you a few things about myself.
I was raised in Waller County and I have three brothers.  When I graduated from High School, I moved to Huntsville, Texas to attend Sam Houston State University.  Go Bearkats!  I majored in Academic Studies with a minor in early childhood education and speech.  I couldn't wait to graduate and start teaching.
I believe in creating a culture of excellence in my classroom by setting high expectations for each of my students while guiding them through academics in a creative, caring, and understanding environment.  I am married and have two boys. I also have two dogs, goats, cows, and horses.
