I am excited to be the assistant principal at Jones Elementary School!  I graduated from Texas A&M in 1997 and began my teaching career in College Station ISD. After relocating to Houston, I taught in Katy ISD for two years before coming to Waller ISD in 2002.  My husband, Doug, was born and raised in Waller, and I loved teaching where he went to school.  In 2005, when I had my first son, I decided to stay home with my son and take a break from teaching.  After the birth of my younger son in 2007, I began working in children's ministry.  In 2014, I realized my heart for children was calling me back into the public schools.  I completed my masters degree in school counseling at Lamar Univeristy, and I was blessed to begin my role as a school counselor in 2015.  I served as the counselor at Turlington Elementary for four years and obtained my principal certification during that time.  I am honored to now be a part of the amazing staff of Jones Elementary.
