Waller Junior High School Principal

Hello Waller Junior High School staff, students, and parents! I am excited to lead Waller Junior High School for the 2018-2019 school year.  I have over 17 years of experience in public education, with administrative experience in Katy ISD, Clear Creek ISD, Santa Fe ISD, and Waller ISD.  Prior to becoming a campus leader, I taught 5th and 6th Grade GT, 7th Grade Science, and High School Biology, Physics, and Chemistry.  I have served in campus leadership roles such as Secondary Academic Instructional Coach, Junior High Assistant Principal, High School Instructional Principal, High School Principal and now as Principal of Waller Junior high School.  I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University and hold B.S. degrees in Biology and Combined Science & Mathematics.  I received my M.S. of Educational Administration degree with Principal certification from the University of Houston – Clear Lake.  In July 2017, I completed my Superintendent certification through the Region 4 Educational Service Center.

I love being a principal and helping students and teachers each day.  My goal is to be a cheerleader for all teachers and students and push everyone to their full potential.  I will do whatever I can to help others be successful each day!  I am here to help.

My family lives in Hockley.  My husband, Lance, is a teacher and Varsity Football Coach at Waller High School.  We have two beautiful children, Brodie and Aubrey, who attend school in Waller ISD as well.  I enjoy spending time with my husband and children, going to church, watching football (and other sports), swimming, eating out, camping, riding bikes, running, spending time with friends, and watching TV.

I hope 2018-2019 is the BEST YEAR EVER for Waller Junior High School!
