My family and I live in Cypress, Texas.  My husband, Mike, and I have 2 children, Jonny and Josie.   Jonny graduated from Cy Woods High School in 2021.  In his free time, he enjoys playing ice hockey.  Our daughter, Josie, is going to be a junior at Cy Woods High School.  Josie plays the flute and piccolo and is a part of the Cy Woods Marching Band.  We also have 3 furbabies, our dogs, Molly and Georgie, and our cat, Venni.  We moved to Texas from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in 2017, two weeks before Harvey hit.  Our family absolutely loves it here, and are proud to call Houston home!

I graduated from California University of Pennsylvania with degrees in both Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education.  I hold teaching certifications in Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Texas.  The 2020-2021 school year will be my 14th year teaching, 10 of which have been in full-time positions.   This is my 6th year teaching fifth grade math and my 5th year in Waller.  Last year, I was honored to be awarded Turlington's Teacher of the Year!
