Hola y bienvenidos a la clase de español.  Welcome to my web page and to the 2020-2021 school year!!  My name is Viridiana Ramirez, but my students call me Ms. Vee or Ms. Ramirez.  

This is my 5th year teaching and first year with the district.  I graduated from Weimar High School in 2005 and received my B.S. in Public Relations and Business Foundations certificate from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012.   I worked for an e-commerce company in Austin as their marketing and media manager before transitioning into a career in education.

In 2015 I completed my teaching program with iTeachTexas.org. I am certified in SPED EC-12, Spanish EC-12, and Generalist 4-8 grade.  I truly believe that education is the greatest gift any person can have, but teaching a different language makes it extra special.  As Frank Smith said, "One language sets you in a corridor for life.  Two languages open every door along the way."

I am thrilled to be a part of the Waller community and eager to meet my new students and introduce them to a new language and culture.
