Mrs. Allie Lee

Hello Bulldogs!

I graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and began my teaching career in my hometown of Houston. Over the years, I have taught world cultures, American history, and social studies for ESL newcomers. As a lifelong learner, I have written curriculum for the National Department of Education's Teaching American History grant program, and I have presented at the Korean War Veterans Digital Memorial national conference in Washington, D.C. My favorite topics to teach include the U.S. Constitution, Industrial Revolution, and the Reform Movements Era.

Throughout my career, I have worked with students from all walks of life. I got into teaching because it is my belief that ALL children should have the same opportunities for a quality education. As a teacher, it is my hope to not only engage my students in the importance of our country's history, but to also mentor and serve as a caring, consistent, and positive role model for them.

My husband, son, daughter, and I moved to a small farm in Waller in 2020 with our dogs, cats, goats, horses, and chickens. Along with teaching social studies, I will be coaching our Waller Bulldog Cross Country and Track teams! I am looking forward to a great year with you in 8th Grade American History!
