Principal's Corner

    Welcome Evelyn Turlington Elementary families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Evelyn Turlington Elementary School.   I am honored and privileged to serve as your new Principal.  Our school is named after Evelyn Turlington, a former teacher of Waller ISD.  She has positively impacted students as their teacher for over 50 years.  Her legacy empowers our school and will continue to be the driving force to the success of Turlington Elementary School.

I began my journey as a Waller High School graduate, and then attended Texas A&M University, where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education.  During my teaching career with Waller ISD, I earned my Master’s Degree in Leadership and Administration from Lamar University.  For the past three years I have served as the Assistant Principal for Turlington Elementary School.

I am energized and deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of your children.  I am beyond excited to begin a new chapter in my career with serving as the Principal of Turlington Elementary School.  I look forward to continuing to build relationships with staff, students, families, and community members.

“You get what you settle for.  Aim high and never settle for anything less than greatness.”
