Waller ISD Experiences Daikin’s Neighbor’s Night

Speakers included the Waller High School (WHS) seniors Aubrey French, Anthony Zarazua, Tori Wright, Daisy Saldana who participated in Daikin’s Homestay Program; WHS Agriculture Science Teacher Barbie Schmidt; and Waller Junior High sixth-grader Audrey Elizalde who won the company’s 2018 Environmental-Themed Art Contest. All shared how the company has touched their lives and thanked them for being a good neighbor.

“Daikin does so much for our students, district, and community,” WISD Superintendent Kevin Moran said. “They are supporters of our welding program at the high school, they buy our students’ animals at the fair, and they encourage art appreciation for our elementary kids. The list goes on. We are so thankful for their interest in supporting education and our community. I see our partnership continuing to grow.”
