Fourth grade students from all five Waller ISD (WISD) elementary schools enjoyed a day of learning outside of the classroom. Waller County AgriLife Extension hosted the students at the Waller County Fairgrounds to learn about the different aspects of agriculture. Students rotated through several stations where they learned about farm animals, equipment, and the growth of crops. At one station, students were taken through the steps necessary to cultivate wheat and corn, and the different ways they are used in their lives.
