Members of the Waller High School Band competed in the UIL Region 27 Solo and Ensemble Contest where four ensembles and three soloists received the highest possible 1st Division ratings. In addition, all four ensembles and one soloist qualified to advance to the State competition! Congratulations to the following student musicians:

• Horn Quartet - 1st Division - State Qualifiers - Ethan Breeden, Timothy Vandruff, Benito Juarez, and William Mattingly
• Saxophone Quartet - 1st Division - State Qualifiers - Nathan Cruz, Mason Fontenot, Dean Duhon, and Stephanie Ruiz Resendiz
• Trombone Trio - 1st Division - State Qualifiers - Kevin Balboa, Kasey Grossman, and Joseph Husfeld
