Incoming Freshman Attends Prestigious Basketball Camp

Waller ISD students are known for their talents in and out of school, and Waller High School incoming freshman Adam Stewart is no different. After demonstrating an amazing talent in basketball, it was no surprise that Stewart was invited to attend the CP3 Rising Stars National Camp. CP3 is an exclusive, invitation-only basketball camp in Greensboro, North Carolina that is led by NBA All-Star Chris Paul. Their motto is: Learn from the best, compete among the elite. Each year over 10,000 active basketball students are nominated, but only the most gifted are invited to attend the camp. As a member of the Class of 2022, Stewart was invited as one of the top 250 rising freshman prospects in the country, and was named among the top 60 All-Stars for his outstanding play at camp.

When asked how he felt for being invited to attend, Stewart stated, “I was honored to be able to compete at CP3 with other elite players from across the nation, and I feel like my hard work in the gym and weight room every day is helping me become the player I want to be.” Stewart was also asked about his fondest memory at camp, “I think my favorite memory from camp was meeting Chris Paul himself and hearing his advice as an NBA veteran.” Congratulation to Adam Stewart on such a wonderful honor and thank you for proudly representing Waller ISD.
